Expression Of Interest

For Increasing Feed LNG Temperature from -160oC to -152 o CAt Dahej Plant, ONGC.

Background:

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has established C2, C3, and C4 Extraction Plant from LNG at Dahej, Gujarat, adjacent to the existing LNG terminal of Petronet LNG Limited (PLL). Our Process licensor & LSTK contractor Toyo Engineering Corporation (TEC), Japan, developed a new cryogenic process known as COREFLUX®-LNG Process for extracting Ethane (C2), Propane (C3), and Butane (C4) from Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The C2/C3/C4 extraction plant consists of one train with design capacity of 5.0 MMTPA (625 MT/hr). Plant was commissioned in July 2015.

The design as well as actual battery limit conditions of the plant is as follows:

Feed flow rate Pressure Temp
Design 625 ton/hr 4.0 kg/cm2g -152oC
Actual 570 ton/hr 8.0 kg/cm2g -158oC

It is observed that the Feed LNG temperature is lower than the original design temperature by around 6oC. Due to which the plant is operating only at 92-95% of its design capacity.

To increase the Processing Capacity of plant to its design condition and increase the production of value added products, Dahej Plant is looking for a Solution which will bring the feed LNG temperature to its design condition (-152 oC).

Expression of Interest:

Expression of Interest is requested by Dahej Plant, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd from competent Solution Providers/Technology Providers who can offer suitable solution to increase Feed LNG temperature in the inlet stream of Plant from minimum of (-)160 oC to (-)152 oC (8 degree temperature rise).

Scope of Work for the Project to be executed subsequently based on responses to EOI:

Under the Project Scheme, the Solution Provider is expected to provide complete Technology solution from concept to development, design diagrams, material of construction, Duration of Project, Value of work, HSE norms Compliance and successfully execute the project.

Interested Parties should send their EOI with relevant documents (mentioned above) to the below mentioned address within 21 days.

C2-C3 Plant, Base Office, Office of Head Operations, GM (P), Shed No: 19, ONGC Colony, Makarpura Road, Baroda-390009, Gujarat, India.
