    Global Expression Of Interest (EoI) For Engineering, Procurement, Consturction And Installation Of Carbon Steel, Duplex Stainless Steel & Reinforced Thermo Plastic (RTP) Pipelines At Oil & Gas Facilities Barmer, Rajasthan

    Cairn Oil and Gas, a vertical of Vedanta Limited is the Operator at onshore block RJ-ON-90/1 located in Barmer & Jalor Districts in the state of Rajasthan; Offshore block CB/OS-2; located off the west coast of the state of Gujarat; Offshore Block Ravva Oil and Gas Field (Ravva), located off the east coast of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

    The Operator on behalf of itself & Joint Venture (JV) partner(s) invites interested contractors (Bidders) with proven capabilities & performance track record in similar requirement to express their interest for prequalification to participate in the Global Competitive Bidding (GCB) Process. The purpose of this GCB is to hire a reputed contractor who can “Design, Supply and Install buried pipelines” for Oil & Gas Facilities Barmer, Rajasthan as per below details.

     Scope of Work broadly includes: Scope is divided into two categories. Bidder to indicate its interest in any or all of the following categories: Part A: Duplex Stainless Steel (DSS), Carbon Steel (CS)/Carbon steel with HDPE liner Pipelines 1) Replacement of existing 14” X 900 Mtr. (Approx.) Duplex stainless steel (DSS) buried pipeline. Externally coated DSS line pipes shall be free issued to the contractor. Brief scope covers, construction including stringing, trenching, Hot/Cold bends, HDD, welding/NDT, joint coating, laying, backfilling, hydro-testing, hook up, pre-commissioning and commissioning etc. 2) Replacement of existing pipelines with new CS / CS with inner HDPE liner. Brief scope covers engineering, procurement (including CS line pipes, HDPE liner, Valves, fittings etc.) and construction (including stringing, trenching, welding/NDT, fabrication of flanged spools, construction of flange/valve pits, installation/laying of pipe spool in the trench, backfilling, hydro-testing, hook up, pre-commissioning and commissioning etc.).

    Part B: Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipelines (RTP) Replacement of existing high temperature and high pressure CS pipelines with new multiple RTP pipelines. Brief scope covers engineering, procurement (including RTP line pipes, CS manifold, Valves, fittings etc.) and construction (including trenching, fabrication of manifolds, construction of valve pits/Above ground fencing, installation/laying of pipe spool in the trench, backfilling, hydro-testing, hook up, pre-commissioning and commissioning etc.) Only those entities who meet the “Specific Pre-Qualification Criteria” as mentioned below are requested to respond to this EOI. The selected consultants would not be permitted to sub-contract the awarded jobs / sections of the job without Cairn’s explicit approval.

Further to this, interested contractors would be invited to submit their response via Smart Source (Cairn’s e Sourcing Platform). The contractors would be requested, as a minimum, to submit the above documents and details for prequalification via Smart Source within fourteen (14) days of publication of this EOI.
