Expression Of Interest: Workover Rigs. ONGC, Mehsana Asset, seeks Expression of Interest from potential reputed and experienced bidders having experience and expertise in the area of “providing workover rigs for doing workover jobs.

    Prospective bidders may note that the purpose of this EOI is to firm up scope of work and to enlist financial and technical capabilities of prospective bidders for work detailed in the Scope of Work. This EOI is not meant for selection of bidders only. Selection of bidders will be done later on, on the basis of invitation of tenders depending on the response to EOI.

    Interested bidders are requested to convey their willingness to participate in the meet along with the name of the participant within one month of the publication of this EOI at following address:

    Office of CGM-Head Well Services, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, KDM BHAWN, ONGC Mehsana Asset, Palavasana, Mehsana-38003, Gujarat, India.

    Scope Of Work : The contractor shall provide complete Workover Rig along with all associated rig equipments, personnel, all conforming to the required technical specifications and maintain and operate the rig, so as to carry out production testing, completion and workover operations at all the field locations and defined depths (up to 2000 mts) as identified by ONGC from time to time.

    The bidder shall have to provide the following:-

  • Complete Workover Unit to carry out all operations.
  • Mud pump, tanks, Mud/brine handling facilities, system associated lines.
  • BOP & control unit, system associated lines.
  • Diesel Generator, lighting system suitable for hazardous area.
  • All types of required handling tools including pneumatic slips, hydraulic power tongs.
  • Safety devices, fire-fighting equipment as per requirement.
  • Drill string of specified size, grade, length, and cross-over in different combinations as specified in broad specifications (Drill string is not required for 30 Ton rigs).
  • Adequate qualified/ experienced crew.
  • Maintenance of all rigs and rig related, safety related equipment.
  • All fuels, lubricants and consumables for workover unit, equipment, camp and vehicles.
  • Maintain adequate inventory stock levels of stores and spares for repair.
  • First Aid at site and other medical services for his personnel.
  • Handling and storage of all ONGC’s items/equipment at site.
  • Training of rig personnel, key personnel.
  • Assistance in all services performed by other service companies/services used in the operations in so far as can be done with contractor’s personnel.
  • Transport of all items/equipment of contractor from yard/stores to well site as and when required commensurate to well programme.
  • Supply of technical or operational water.
  • Constant monitoring of quality control of well fluid (mud/brine) by measuring instruments and maintain the desired weight and quality throughout.
