Invitation For Expression of Interest (EoI) For RLNG Demand Assessment

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), a premier National Oil Company having “Maharatna” status under Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Govt. of India, incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, having its office at Deendayal Urja Bhawan, 5A, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070, has booked 1 MTPA Regasification capacity in Swan LNG Private Limited’s (SLPL) Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) Terminal at Jafrabad, Gujarat. ONGC has empanelled list of players from whom LNG procurement shall be undertaken (from time to time) for regasification at SLPL Terminal at Jafrabad located in the state of Gujarat. ONGC intends to supply RLNG from Jafrabad Terminal to downstream gas customers/marketers.

ONGC hereby invites EOI in the format (Annexure-1) attached herewith from interested consumers/marketers of RLNG, (each such consumers/marketers of RLNG that submits an EOI being a “customer”) for demand assessment for RLNG to be made available as per indicative details in the table below

The RLNG will be available from Jafrabad Terminal, Gujarat which will be connected with GSPL’s high pressure grid.

The details requested here are for demand assessment from prospective consumers/ marketers only.

Submitting EOI and providing details will not give any prescriptive right to the customer for the allocation/sale of gas to them. The purpose of this EOI is to invite responses from the interested customers to source RLNG from ONGC. All the data/information received in this regard shall be treated in strict confidence and shall be used only for our internal purposes. Submission of data/information shall, in no way imply, that the customer is qualified, and / or will not bind ONGC to undertake any contract/GSPA for supply/sale RLNG.

The customer may provide scanned copies of the duly filled-in EOIs (EOI form and Annexure-1), along with attendant documents in the Portable Document Format (.PDF) to the email address designated for the submission of EOIs (i.e. ONGC_LNG@ongc.co.in), with the following text in the subject line of the email: “EOI for RLNG Demand Assessment: ONGC/EOI-1/RLNG/2021”, within 21 days i.e. on or before 31st December, 2021.
