Expression of Interest (EoI) for identification of Partner for Engineering, Procurement & Commissioning of Geothermal Power Generation System (1 MW) in Ladakh.

Introduction: ONGC is pursuing a Geothermal Field Development Project at Puga and Chumathang areas in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The initiative aims to harness the region's rich geothermal potential to develop a sustainable and clean energy source. The Puga Geothermal Drilling site is located in the Puga, Leh district, UT-Ladakh. The present drilled depth stands at 405 meters, which makes the well OEC_PUGA_GT#02, drilled by ONGC Energy Centre at Puga, Ladakh, the deepest well in the region.

Objective: The primary objective of this EoI is to invite technically competent and experienced vendors to express their interest in designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning a skid mounted ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) power plant / Steam Turbine Power Plant to facilitate easy mobilization to various geothermal sites.

The proposed plant should be designed for a turbine inlet temperature of approximately 200°C, with an estimated wellhead pressure of about 3-4 bar and a flow rate of approximately 150 T/h, targeting a total power generation capacity of 1 MW.
