November 3, 2026: Pune Gas has opened its 10th Experience Centre in Mangaluru, Karnataka, to expand access to its commercial and industrial gas solutions across coastal Karnataka. The new facility marks the company’s second Experience Centre in Karnataka, following its Bengaluru location. It will serve businesses across Dakshina Kannada and neighbouring areas with gas efficiency, safety and precision-engineered technologies.
D. Vedavyasa Kamath, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing Mangaluru City South, and S. Mukund Kamath, Chairman and Managing Director of Ideal Ice Cream Pvt. Ltd., inaugurated the centre. Senior representatives from BPCL, HPCL and the wider oil and gas industry also attended the launch. Franchise partners Vindya Pai and Nithyanand Pai will lead the centre locally, supported by Pune Gas’s technical and leadership teams.
Targeting commercial and industrial sectors
Pune Gas identified Mangaluru and Dakshina Kannada as important markets because of their diverse business and industrial activities. The region supports restaurants, hospitality businesses, seafood processing, cashew processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilisers and manufacturing. Industrial areas such as Baikampady, Yeyyadi, Ganjimutt and Karnad also contribute to its industrial activity.
Businesses across these sectors depend on reliable energy systems for commercial kitchens, process heating and other operations. The region’s seafood and cashew industries also offer opportunities for energy efficiency improvements. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has identified both products under Dakshina Kannada’s District Export Hub designation. Efficient LPG systems can help businesses reduce fuel wastage, control operating costs and improve profitability.
