November 5, 2026: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Maharatna public sector undertaking, has launched its ultra-premium petrol, SPEED 100, in Indore, expanding the availability of high-octane fuel for owners of premium cars and high-performance motorcycles.

The 100-octane petrol was launched at Sukhmani Petro Filling Station on Friday. SPEED 100 has a Research Octane Number (RON) of 100 and is designed for high-performance engines that require higher-octane fuel.

According to BPCL, the fuel incorporates its proprietary Speed Additive Technology and Friction Modifier Technology, designed to maintain fuel injector cleanliness, support combustion efficiency and engine performance, and deliver a smoother driving experience.
